The Calm Before The Storm...

Hello and welcome to my life this week. Am gonna keep it short people. We were flooded again last Monday. 

S**t! 

This time we never got the chance to leave the house before the water trespassed my car and my home. 

Double S**t! 

So blah blah blabh blah blah, right now my home is clean again and i already took my car to the car shop to cook and toast it up. Then I went grocery shopping to buy food and supplies in case the rapture comes again. Cause, you'll never know, you know? Am a tell yah, people's eyes zoomed in to my ass because I was quite a sight today. Cause you know, my car seat made me look like i peed my pants in public.

So anyway, anyway, anyway, last Saturday I took a day off and went to visit my sorority house, aka, Sigma Ukay Mega Halukay. A lot of my sisters were present, so crazier than I am  that I never got the chance to really look around. But I went home with two skirts ( a green maxi and yellow pencil skirt), a poncho and two sweater for less than 200 pesos. Not bad ei?

Also, I don't know how to tell you this without sounding too dramatic, but I am kind of tired today. Both my wrist hurt, I think, even my earlobes hurt. I believe that everyone needs something to believe in when the going gets tougher than the usual, and i believe Ill have a glass of frozen margarita and a shot of shut up and deal with it. Yah know what am saying?

Is there any way to switch October for November? You know, November be the 10th month? ..... November should come any day now...  

I miss having someone.

another vintage dress I picked up from the floor dropped by some noisy teenager. So i asked her if she's getting the dress and she looked at me like, "you go get em gramma". So binili ito ng lola mo.

 It's a black dress with thousands of silver stars. A perfect funeral dress.

oversize? check! stripes? check! knit? check!

i was almost 7 months pregnant and this knit dress help me through a lot. Also, the last day I was bloat free.

I call this one my slouchy dress. Which pretty much sums me up. 

RIP boots. You will always be in my heart. 

everybody needs a bag with a face. And mine is sporting a nice rich tan. 

this is heavy. Pre Yllac, this bag and me were once bffs. We're rekindling our friendship now.

I am downsizing my closet, or at least I've been trying for months now. As I was trimming down everything I can't help but notice that most of the "survivors" were sourced from my thrifting. And here are some of them. I got them all very cheap and most still with a price tag on. Kachiiing! I usually got them for less than 200 pesos except for the bags which I purchased for 250-300php. And these bags are genuine leather. And oh, that boots. It breaks my heart knowing how irreplaceable that one is. Everybody needs a comfy and good, in my case - a good stylish cowboy studded boots. But she passed a couple of months ago. Bum! And she's never coming back. But she's one hall of famer.

The Little Green Dress

I thought I can bully my boys to wear their green shirts again. Instead my Husband wore white shirt and the baby doesn't wanna be bothered. Crabby people! But hey look at me, i am loving my thrifted green dress. Isn't it nice? I am sure gonna wear this again. And again. And again.

Happy Sunday everyone. I can feel Christmas already. Nights are getting longer and they just can't wait to start early as evident in these photos that were taken around 5pm today. So that means more jackets and boots ei?
