14 month old thrifted boots

I think my most beloved shoe is about to take its last step and go up straight to shoe heaven soon. Am sad. This boots is my absolute companion on my rugged days - when I don't feel like wearing my other pretentious shoes. I am always going back to this boots for comfort and am just a bit heavyhearted for not showing her to you on this blog more often, considering am wearing her almost everyday. If this one die, I'll have a hard time finding another one that can fill the shoes ...... of this boots.

Bamboo Booties

Am selling these boots for P1800, free shipping within planet Earth. Juk!- Philippines only. Purchased them late last year from Go Jane.com. I haven't worn them, not once, because it runs a bit tight on my fat foot especially on my chubby toes. It's US size 7.5 (9 1/2 inches or 24cm) so If you're US size 7 these boots are for you. Camouflage

Obviously my choice of fashion these days are leaning towards hiding my post pregnancy tummy. Hopefully prints will do the trick. And the Suede brown peep toe boots, it's just a distraction from the rest of me. Am a shoe lady now, so am thinking, that  people, at least half of the population of the girls has the tendency to look at your shoe first than your face or your body right?

OLA gorgeous ladies and gentlegays! Bear with me, I feel a lot rusty these days. Having not blogged for almost a month gave me plenty of things to share but honestly I don't have the slightest idea where and how to to begin. See, am still crawling my way back to blogging, so let me just show you what I wore yesterday to a family lunch. I love this dress. I wore this last December 24, 2010, the day I gave birth to Yllac. And yesterday was a big surprise when I finally noticed how my waist shrunk much tinier than my hips.

Anyway, regarding the shoes from my previous post, it's all from amiclubwear.com's clearance sale, except the last shoe which is from Gold Dot. Speaking of Gold Dot, am wearing the Brandy boots I purchased last December. I gave it a little collar and a .... tongue, folded it a bit to elongate my short legs. You know how short girls look even shorter on boots, so i have to tweak a bit to avoid looking like a dwarf.

11:35pm Onwards

The newest person in our home doesn't like sleeping at night. In fact for him, at ten pm, the night's just getting started where he wants to play and make his cute noises of coohs and aaahhhs. After an hour or two it's still bearable, i feel like am still burning my energy and believe me I have plenty of it. After three hours am still good, but four hours later and still no sign of sleepiness, that's when everything becomes crazy. Name it, crying spells, rocking , swinging, singing and dancing all the same time, I've done it. Even the crying spells. There are so many nights that am close to tears, especially that one night - am alone with him and he did not sleep for seven hours. From ten pm to five am he's awake. No wonder so many mothers are crazy. Hello Crazy Mother's Club, here's your newest member.

The following day, I said to myself ....

I DESERVE A SHOE!

Not one, but six and more to come. Soon as I made the order, (I love you mom for these shoes. You are the best) Yllac's sleeping pattern turns to normal. Meaning, like us, normal people that sleeps when the sun sets down. Seriously, as a mother now to mothers out there, you deserve a shoe too, or purse, or a massage or mani and pedi. You deserve pampering and all the nice things this world has to offer. So go, buy yourself something that makes you happy. You most of all deserve it.

I've never felt shoe deprived my whole life since I got pregnant. I think you know why. On my seventh month started my foot metamorphosis - not in a pretty way. I always have a negative feelings about my feet. Honestly I don't like them. If I have my way I want a narrow, thin feet. Am not a Havaianas girl. Most of the girl I see has pretty cute feet that wearing slippers makes them look so cool. Me, I need a shoe to distract people from my feet. But, I don't think people see what i see each time i look down. It's just my fixation. Just like everyone has one right? With me, it's my feet. Feet is my thing. 

It's nice being pregnant cos you get to receive a lot of gifts for just being pregnant. Like the day we knew we finally made a baby, Jayson - my husband gave me something. Call it the baby payback. hehe. And every month that my pregnancy is progressing good am getting more and more from him and from the people around me. Pregnancy is sooooo DOPE!!!!!! So days ago husband gave me a go signal to finally order this shoe. I've been a fan of Gold Dot for sometime now since i saw their shoe on a local magazine. After googling the site and saw their collection I fell in love right away. Everything looks so amazing, but i have yet to wait the right shoe for me. And tahdah, Brandy was born. She's mine. And next week I get to finally hold her in my arms.

We finally decided on a baby name. Clue, it's a Tagalog, macho name that will rhyme with Lozada. It's not Elvis Jagger Abdul-Jabbar Lozada anymore.

White Kindle and White Booties

• You know how people from another planet shop for their summer clothes when it's winter or fall just because summer clothes are on their cheapest price? Well am kinda doing it now - only with shoes. Again, still size 8, only a size 8 feet covered with cottage cheese. Imagine???? Anyway, ten years ago am obsessed with pink tops and white sneakers. Can you (again) imagine that???? Somehow the pink phase of my life faded eventually and I can't remember the exact moment when i finally said goodbye to my white sneaker. And since then I haven't bought any white shoe. A couple of weeks ago, while doing my power-"please-make-it-normal-delivery"-walk, i saw this white boots, and it's on 70% off. Aaaaand they have it on my pre-cottage cheese foot size. So i bought it. Am i smarter than grade 5 or what? Chorva lang!
• Speaking of smart, well I think am smart. Just because i can read. LUL. In my two years of blogging there's something about me I haven't told you about. Yes. Am a reader. I can't be sure how good, or how extensive reader am I, but am goooood. From cereal boxes, to pantie liners, to the back of Chinese noodles, to magazines, to books, to tabloids or even those books written in languages I can never understand I.READ.THEM. I can only sleep after reading. Can't travel without a magazine or a book. Even if I don't have any plans or time to read them, am just more at peace knowing i have something to read with me. It's my security blanket. But newsflash - I don't read when am with someone. I only read when I don't talk. True story. So this Kindle is a gift from my not-so-third-world brother and his wife. It's so sweet. They know me so well. They're aware I don't like phones, or phones, or more phones or more phones with camera. Clearly technology doesn't agree with me. We don't get along, but Kindle I can grow old with you. We belong together. We're MFEO. Charing! 

Color Boost

What the world needs now are green purses, purple tights, orange sweaters, white jeans, metallic purses, orange dresses, mint green hat, pink scarves, gold or silver nails, yellow earrings, blue eye shadow, red heels, fuchsia lips, coral dresses, floral skirts, and what else? 

As for me I need my yellow shoes. Cos when it comes to lifting your mood, there's nothing quicker or more effective than a glorious display of color. Especially now that it's gloomy outside, that I haven't seen the sun since this morning, this yellow shoes is my sunshine every step of the way.

Good Friday

You ever think that life was all about ebb and flow? Some things come to you, and some things taken away. But there are times you feel it's unfair that more and more things are taken away from you and it seem never ending. Then one day it's turns sweet and oh-so-fine, things starting happening and coming for you. One good thing after another. It never stops. Wish it wouldn't stop. 

Well my friend, i wish you're in that sweet place now, even sweeter than before. Life is good. 

D'oh! Like The Simpsons kind-of-good. Been watching since this morning and can't complain. Say keep it coming.  D'oh!

No stories today. Just an outfit post. Oh maybe a little shoe story. I bought this shoe a long long time ago, if i remember it right 5 years ago at Mendrez, a local store. It caught my eye because it looks like a rubber shoes, and I have a terrible balance walking on heels so mostly my heels remains on their resting place up on our cabinet. One i believe will be resurrected next week for a friends wedding we're very much excited to attend.

So there it is. Still a quickie story slipped out of my mouth. I am terrible on keeping my mouth shut even for an hour. ihihihi.
