'Til I Saw Your Face, Now Am A Believer

Baby Lozada

Tell me, is it a boy or a girl????

Oh man I don't know where to start. Tissue please.

Just had my 4th ultrasound a couple of days ago. The previous one - two and a half months ago, our baby's still all bones. So this time, when i saw our baby's chubby cheeks, i just smiled and it sure melt my heart away. It is overwhelming. It is L O V E. It simply felt so nice to finally put a cute face to all those kicks and pokes every hour of the day. It didn't took me long to recognize my husband's nose and forehead on the monitor and a lot of my father's chubby cheek. The baby's healthy, has the thickest/biggest hair, very energetic, round, has two sets of eyes, arms and legs, a big stomach and a strong pumping heart. The baby's perfect. That's all that matters.

How about the gender you might ask. Well, I simply gave the ultrasound doctor the hardest job by keeping from me the information if our baby has grown a bee or a flower, but known to my parents and to my traitor husband. I can't blame him for trying to know the gender of the baby. It has gotten to him since my parents arrived. He's easily influenced that's all i can say. Am not a kill-joy freak, I just wanted the surprise that's all. It's the excitement of not knowing. That's what surprises are for right? I don't care even if the whole world knows, I don't care for the little bee and flower, I just wanted a baby. I got to say, the ultrasound room was the happiest room in the hospital that day. It is my favorite room. Soon enough it will be the nursery. Very very soon.

SO, any guesses? Is it a boy or a girl?

By the way forgive me for not updating too much these days, you see am very very very busy...... just watching the ultrasound video over and over again. Hope you understand. My favorite part???... it was when our baby tries to cover his/her face with his/her hands a couple of times. So cute. Shy and cute.

4 am.

Am supposed to be sound asleep now, but baby woke me up. I think we're rehearsing for the real thing.

So after tuning in to my ex boyfriends old movie, Encino Man (California Man) i finally decided to do some love blogging. What the heck, might as well be productive.  Anyway the baby woke me up by sticking his/her foot on my right rib and man it hurts. Got to admit, it's the kind of pain any expecting mother would want.

On Thursday ill be on my 33rd week. There are days that I just wanna have this baby but there are moments, like now, when am suddenly afraid of my D-day.The trick I guess is to not think so much about it. That will solve just about everything.... at least for a while

Just A Happy Knocked Up Witch

happy witch

Was thinking of wearing black lipstick and pointed black hat, but it's too much for the shock of my little town. Wearing black makes me feel so slim. But underneath it all am a whooping 61 kilograms of excitement, joy, happiness, love, fat, water and a gorgeous baby.

Happy Halloween everyone! What/who were you last night?

My Feet Are Gone

SUNP0098
missing feet

I can't seem to recall the last time I looked down and saw my feet. Probably a week ago or something. Am definitely feeling heavy right now. Physically it takes a lot of effort to pull myself up by myself from sitting or lying position. So it's nice when am surrounded with people. They can't refuse my sweet requests like handing me the magazines or giving me a glass of water. And it's not hard to abuse that am-pregnant-card to everyone.

Sleeping is hard right now. Last night I didn't get to sleep at all. Am not sure If am just over thinking everything, or am just so excited or there's just no comfortable sleeping position no matter how many pillows i surround myself with. They say it's normal on the last trimester. But i kinda liked it. I think the baby knows when am awake. It moves non stop. I love the idea that it's just me and him/her awake in the middle of the night, me feeling his/her every movement and kicks. It sounds selfish, but the last remaining weeks is just around the corner that will go by so fast so I don't want to miss any moment. Anyway, baby and I can always sleep any hour in the morning.

We're going out a little later. Id probably dress up as a knocked up witch. But the rain is approaching so we'll see if plans will push through. If not, then ill just be me. Just a bloated knocked up spawn of duck and tadpole.
