I love dusk. It is my absolute favorite time of the day. When i was a little girl and I can't read the clock, it's the combination of the bright colors blue, yellow and orange that says my parents are about to go home from work. My brother and I would wait on our driveway and wait for my dad, who's a farmer by the way, and from the moment we saw him on his bike and the peculiar over-worn look of his straw hat, even hundreds of meters away, we'd race towards him and then the three of us would squeeze together on his bike going back home,- my brother riding in front of him and me on the back.
Back in College, it was sometime dusk for my every last class. Id look at the window and see cars going by with their headlights on. Everyone had a place to go, something to do, and girls looking pretty on their cutest clothes with their man on their side, the night was just beginning.. And me, obviously sounding incredibly very lonely.Well there's something romantic and, or depressing about dusk. While the sun going down, the air smells like burning leaves and you long for someone to share it with. I am most peaceful and clear headed at dusk and a coffee on my hand is an overkill but that's the perfect scene for me as i say hello to a couple of seconds to my most beloved time of the day.
And it was also dusk that my husband and i saw each other again after ten long years since high school. So i love dusk, i love everything that comes with it. Seems to appear as thought things are changing - more exciting.
Have a great day everyone!
