Rain Boots

Am officially welcoming months of rain with open arms and excitement that's been missing with me the whole summer. Yey! The cool air, sunless days, oh can't complain. But there's one though, here, if it rains, it pours non stop for days and going out is very difficult. It's muddy and messy. Am a little hypochondriac when it comes to my feet, I feel that am gonna die instantly from rain water diluted with animal pee and all, well aren't we all? Am afraid you're going to see this boots for the whole rainy season, so am on the hunt for at least one more. But it's terribly hard to find a decent looking boots on a cheap price. Well of course compared  to this one that I got on a thrift more than a year ago.

Enough about the boots, so the necklace huh???!!!! LOVE.AT.FIRST.SIGHT. Isn't it ahamazing? Got this from Stanley Market in Hong Kong and I've never seen anything like it, so no more thinking done, I got myself one. Cheap thrill indeed. Do you ever feel that you're outwitting the world whenever you get something or just about anything dirt-cheap? I do!

Mantra

So many books out there that teaches us how to live or improve our lives. I don't have one. Oh boy, don't get me wrong cos I need a lot of help. But through the years of searching, of trial and error, well lots of error, i've learned that the secret to a happy life is simply joy, peace, humor, gratitude, love, friends, contentment, a little bit of sarcasm,  and a huge amount of self delusion. The last two were my own contribution. Keeping it real people. No book out there that teaches otherwise. 

Well whatever works for you right?

Truth is everyone lies.

From the moment we were born our parents we're the first one to lie in or face. I remember the first time my mom lied to me, "Den, you are the most beautiful girl in the world." So i lied to her back, "you're the prettiest mom."....What can i do, am my mother's daughter. So until today, every morning i wake up, when i look in the mirror I see Megan Fox and whenever i sing i hear Barbra Streisand. 

...I don't know how to end this that hopefully will make you feel good, but self delusion gave me hope like no one else can. It's healthy for me. Am a fool but very very healthy. It gets me through the day and It made me a bigger person. No pun intended.

A Whole New World

Disneyland is like a whole new different dimension. Indeed, the happiest place on earth. Kids acting their normal selves - screaming, running, crying, smelly, sweaty and most of all very very happy. They're amazing. Their bodies so small, sometimes you wonder how it all fits in them: heart, bones, muscles and brains. Their only mission for that day is to have fun. They don't care about what's happening around the world. The weather is fine and it's always time to play.

Wish kids would not grow up too damn fast.

Lantau Island Cable Car

.....seriously thought my balls are gonna fall off. c",)  I hate heights, but this is the only way to the Buddha temple in (Lantau Island) no time. Or you can also take the bus, but it will take more than an hour, so not much choice given, here i was on a crystal cabin scared and cold and laughing out of nervousness. But seriously it was fun and safe. It's like the idea of ghost, you know It can't hurt you, but still, you scare yourself just for the fun of it. What's more fun is we got the whole cabin all for ourselves on the way back. And every time it feels like falling my lungs would explode. Well again am terrified of high places and this cable car certainly pushed my limit. 

You should try this. The view's just breathtaking.
