I love 2011. I will archive it as a life-changing year for me. I have become a mom. But this is also the year I stopped/forgot about jumping. Oh I love jumping. I really do. I miss it. To me jumping means (aside from the obvious of course) happiness, energy, health and fun and not taking myself seriously. I think we should all jump from time to time right? So for 2012 it's all about playing and having fun. After all I have a baby boy that needs a lot playing. It's time to be a kid again. Oh what fun!

First Love Never Die

Oh it's such a curse to be one. So glad I am nobody's first love, imagine to not die and live till the end of the world? c",) Anyway, I love public transport in the Philippines. I really do. You'll never get bored especially if you're a reader. The best one I've read so far was at the back of the tricycle that says "Ang buhay at mahalaga, kaya huwag kang TATANGA-TANGA." yes, tatanga-tanga was written in bold letters (life is precious, so do not be a fool cccc",)) gah, it sounded better in Filipino. But It shook me to the core and has become my mantra in life.

Hope you're all having a fabulous week. I am so excited for the next days to come. A family has come home and we will spend all of our time together as much as we can. Just like the wisdom-ous tricycle once said, life is precious, life is short so .... you know the rest of it.

Oh Sunlight, Where Art Thou?

Hello Sun! How are you? I know, that you know how important you are to us, you of all star is the center of the universe. Don't take this the wrong way, but I love the cool weather now. I really do, but I kinda miss you. So in search for you, I dug up some old photos of ours to keep me warm in a not-so-sweaty-way. i know you're having great time relaxing now, somewhere. Take your time, but we haven't done our laundry in a week. I miss you, we need you. So when you finally decide to show yourself up once again, do not over react. Just take it easy. Warm up slowly. Don't stress yourself to much. But come back soon.

Oh Life!

When I am in an open space I feel like I own that place. I can do pretty much anything I want. I know I am home. I love where I am right now. And I love my life exactly the way it is. Sure I want more, I want change. I want something still unclear to me. But life right now is just enough to give me a sound sleep at night and not ask for anything more. I have a singing dog. I have an eight kilo baby that can't roll over but sits perfectly straight and can do up to ten sit ups. And i have a husband who laughs like talking tom. Today is perfect.

I Heart You Allssss

Working on links right now and it's still under construction. Look on the left side and yey, I made two sets of links already. But it's taking forever stalking my favorite people right now and putting all their blogs on display while dinuduyan ko si Yllac. (pls someone translate the last part in English). I know it won't get finished because everyday I am discovering great local blogs and more from other parts of the universe. And it makes me happy to cyber-travel through these wonderful blogs. Can You Take Me Higher?

I am definitely feeling much healthier and much much much better now. I do remember like it was yesterday how I was always tired the whole length of my pregnancy. Food tastes oh-so-much good now. It was a celebration for me and my husband the day after i gave birth because my taste buds started functioning again. No more drooling, no more nasty after tastes. I never knew how a person's ability to taste food can affect his/her disposition and mood. No wonder a hungry person can be so grumpy. I was grumpy. Not because I was hungry but I can't taste food the way I remember they should be. I have more energy now than ever before my whole life. And It's not difficult to wake up as early as four in the morning. Well, it is still a little difficult. Okay, truth is one baby's scream is enough to wake up the whole neighborhood. And Yllac's got a full use of his mighty lungs when he needs me to wake up and listen to his ramblings. Anyway, babies are weird. And mine is the cutest little weirdo on Earth.

Baby Love

Okay, before anyone jump into a panic reaction, NO this is not a high jump, just a couple of inches above the ground. It was the husband who's lying on the ground. It's just that i miss jump shots so much, that's all. But thank you for your never ending concern. Always appreciate that.

So a couple of days ago i had my second ultrasound. The baby's very healthy. I guess that's the most important thing right now. To know he/she is very healthy. It has two sets of legs and arms, it has a butt, pumping heart and lots of ribs and it has a big head. So far the baby's on track but a little shy. We didn't see the gender. But that's okay. All we ever wanted is a baby and finally God gave us one, so regardless if he's a bee or if she's a flower we're just excited to start our little finally. Maybe we don't want to know anymore till the day he/she comes. I really want that surprise! Sometimes I just can't wait for December, when all i ever think about now is this baby. I know December is gonna be so hectic with Christmas and New Year and soon this baby. I say bring it on. I am soooooo ready!

A Whole New World

Disneyland is like a whole new different dimension. Indeed, the happiest place on earth. Kids acting their normal selves - screaming, running, crying, smelly, sweaty and most of all very very happy. They're amazing. Their bodies so small, sometimes you wonder how it all fits in them: heart, bones, muscles and brains. Their only mission for that day is to have fun. They don't care about what's happening around the world. The weather is fine and it's always time to play.

Wish kids would not grow up too damn fast.

Spent days in HongKong last week and we just got back. It was sooooo fun .....okay, don't be fooled by the photos, as of landing am officially poor.

Mt.Pinatubo

One look that's all took to create a lifetime of passion. I have no control over my feelings. It is as if am possessed by the ocean, the beaches, the boardwalk, the feeling of oneness that comes over me now especially after seeing Mt.Pinatubo for the first time I knew we are soul mates. It's so bewildering what a decade can make, considering that on 1991 when it last erupted people were fleeing and running away from it's tumultuous devastation that cost many lives and horrible experiences one will never forget. I was eleven then when it erupted and i was made to believe that this volcano is the devil's gate. So unforgiving. And i just can't believe that after a couple of years it has become a beauty that attracts people from all over the world to see and to experience a little piece of history.

Mt.Pinatubo is sleeping for now i believe. And she's beautifully peaceful nowadays.

Btw, trekking is not that hard. It's actually cold on the way up. And my favorite part of the volcano is on the other side where the water is still boiling hot.

Love Pinatubo. She's one sleeping beauty. I just really hope she'll continue to sleep forever and never wakes up anymore. No Prince Charming for her kind.
