I Would Like to Tell You That...

Stuck At The Temple

.....I honestly cannot remember those sleepless nights on the first couple of weeks we had Yllac. I do remember that I cried many nights, but I can't remember anymore why.

.....and that we're thinking of expanding our little family maybe next year. We want a baby girl. A girl so soft, she won't give us a headbutt and won't punch us in the face when she's excited.

.....every family is unique in their own weird way. That every family has different stories to tell. And every family celebrates their love for each other in so many ways. That's why I am thankful we got to share some of our family's little story here and share our joy as new parents to this beautiful baby boy.

.... every night before i close my eyes to sleep i beg and plead to God to keep my family in his safe arms forever. Protect us and all our families and friends and that He would continue to bless us with love, joy and a grateful heart for all the things we enjoy big and small.

....Jayson is the love of my life.

.....Yllac is our life.

....you bless me, this blog blesses me.Thank you.

.... I am excited for March. It's my birthday month. I am turning 32. Yey.

.....this is my favorite thrifted mommy-dress. It has so many stars and it makes me happy and comfy.

Have a happy happy day everyone!

DIY Floral Pouch

DIY Flower Patch Pouch

I made this pouch yesterday. No stitching involved. Don't you hate it when you have to stitch? I do!

DIY Flower Patch Pouch

  • you will need a pouch or clutch or any bag, (I got mine as free from last year's Christmas shopping)
  • a piece of leather, or felt paper or any fabric. Actually it's up to you on what material to use for the flower pattern.
  • And a very good paste. I used Mighty Bond.
DIY Flower Patch Pouch
DIY Flower Patch Pouch,

Cut out your flower pattern and paste right into the pouch. And that's it. Easy right?

Now my pouch is summer ready. Yey!

DIY Gold Bangles

diy gold bangles and cuff,

I am no King Midas but I managed to turn some of my old bangle and that bronze cuff my husband gave me a long time ago into gold using a gold spray paint of course. c",)

diy gold bangles and cuff,

You will need a can of spray paint. And here, I used a tape to give some of the bangles a different pattern. Spray from a good distance and wait for a couple of minutes to dry for second or third coat.

diy gold bangles and cuff,

After drying, i then wrapped around a green and orange yarn to one of the bangle for a more summer look.

I hope you liked this easy and fun and cheap diy to give your old accessories a new fresh look.

Have fun everyone. Enjoy your day.

It's Gonna Be A Great Week

bag from baguio, denise katipunera, dyed red shorts, pinay filipina fashion blogger,

Our Saturday was not something I consider good. Our car broke down and we missed seeing all our friends as well as the first birthday party of our friend's baby in the city. And yesterday (Sunday) we have no power at home from 8am to 3 in the afternoon. Great right? But at least i got myself a red shorts which isn't red originally.(dyed it red) It was white and seen worn here at a time my scalp was puking real bad perm job and talking about Wars and Vampires. Now that's awesome for my memory lane.

and if you're interested to see the rest of my outfit and awkward poses and dark knees pls click after the jump. c",)

DIY Crayon Light Catcher

DIY Crayon Light Catcher

Give your window something pretty to look at and through with these translucent hanging circles made of  melted wax-crayons and waxed paper. Here's how...

DIY Crayon Light Catcher

You will need wax-crayons, waxed paper and iron.

using a pencil sharpener shave some crayons and deposit it inside the folded waxed paper.

Iron lightly on medium heat. Just give it a quick sweep because the crayons tend to melt easily. You can use brown paper to protect your ironing surface just in case there's an unexpected spilling. After all the crayons melted, let cool. And then trace your shapes (just circles for now, but you can use hearts, or other shapes) and cut. And that's it. Hang them by the window with any string of your choice.

Now I feel cheerful already. c",)

I wish you all a great weekend! God bless.

Last week was cold. Swear!

I love a pop of dark color against pastels. It's like the blue here is playing peekaboo.

nude booties: Make Me Chic

Yllac enjoying his duck pool last May of 2011

I don't like summer but we have a family size inflatable pool hidden somewhere here so yeah, i better appreciate summer to enjoy the plastic pool as a family maybe this weekend? Truth is, am more excited to see Yllac's reaction to the water this time. We'll see.

Over Our Weekend

Last week, our weekend fell on a Sunday and Monday. Instead of staying home and catch up on sleep (it won't happen anyway) we took the boys out for a walk and made it a coffee date for me and Jayson as well. Aside from that Yllac only walks in circles now, he also happen to do this squishy-duck-face a lot these days. Which isn't bad at all. He cracks me up. Imagine a face like that from morning to night. Imagine the joy i felt each time i see a face like that. Such a treat am a tell you.

Over Our Weekend

Yllac hates his shirt that day. He was screaming from the time we left our home, but soon as his foot touched the ground everything's forgotten.

Over Our Weekend

Well well well, what do we have here? Koffy sporting the headless look. Cute ei?

Over Our Weekend

The following day, husband took us to the beach and bought me ice cream and by look on my face Id win the ugliest face in ice cream eating contest. Yes?

and here is Yllac looking at the water like it's milk.

we took a lot of photos that day and took home a lot of sand in our shoes too. Thanks Yllac!

These two..... am jealous. Yllac likes Daddy more than Mommy these days. Please tell me it's just a phase...

Over Our Weekend

And now it's time for my outfit shot. Bet you already know it didn't happen, but you know what, I love that I was joined by a waving girl in the background and Yllac playing peekaboo with my dress.

I love my life now more than ever.
