Man Made Pond

I am grateful for today, for it is a long, productive, tiring day. I like it when am tired, It is a promise of good sound sleep and blankness of the mind. So for all the things I am about to say, if it's empty, I am sorry. But I am thinking of squatting around here soon. Wanna be my neighbor? How about this dress? I thrifted this a year ago, before I got pregnant, gave it to a friend and came back to me in time for the uneven-hem-dress trend these days. What a turn out?

It's So Fluffy I'm Gonna Die!!!

This skirt has been good at hiding in my closet for almost two years now. Bought it of course from thrift shop and at that time I got it just because it looks really shocking for me and I know one day when I am ready for her I will flaunt her with all confidence. I guess getting old, I've come to brave comments like "oh san punta mo?"(where are you going?) or "saan ang party?" (where's the party?). I do get a lot of that. And overtime those people who used to jab me with these comments have come to terms that I am in fact just being myself. They've come to accept me and have learned to amuse themselves and enjoy the visual entertainment they get from what I am wearing. Sometimes It is exciting to coordinate my outfit with something. So happen that this garbage container is also dressed up like me.

He Makes Me Happy. No Kidding

Before I sleep I just wanna remember some of the things my husband said for the last couple of days that either made me laugh and doubt his sanity and double doubt my decision why I married him.

okay not in particular order:

• He kept on asking me, more like begging me to change the name of Shoe Etiquette to Shoopalicious or Shoolahlah.
• Earlier tonight I heard him talking to Yllac with all seriousness, complaining how Yllac is depriving him of sleep, that he's getting uglier, in his own words "ampanget na ni daddy, kamukha nya na si Aljur."
• Sometimes he'd look himself at the mirror and ask me bench body na ba ako?
• He's threatening me that he'll get rich one day and will never tell me.
  
• a couple of days ago, while driving he was suddenly struck by this brilliant idea and murmured, how to lose weight in 30 seconds. - to beat all weight loss programs imaginable. He's planning on scamming the world.
  

I have no words. Spark is still there, more like electricity. For dumb and dumber-er i love him.I guess he's still the same man I married, he's gotten worse over the years. In a good kind of worse.

Six Months Here At Starbucks

Hi friends!

I turned 6 months today and we're here at Starbucks to celebrate my 180 days on earth. So far, sooo good. If not for the baristas here who almost ruined my day. Imagine you walk into a place, people gush at you and then ask about your age. So my Dad told them I am 6 months today, and altogether they gave their warmest aaawww and said they thought I am a 1 year old.

I.almost.lost.it.

What is it with people and age really? What happened to just saying Hi, how are you? I know I look older than my age. But really, why say it on my face? Do I really look that old? Or maybe it's just the way I dress.... I don't know.

But anyway, am happy. I am 6 months today. I am healthy. Will eat solid food finally, but honestly my mom's been feeding me little by little since i turned 4 months which is illegal and finally I can sit on my own, but if I am not concentrating i could really fall flat on my face. But hey, I am sitting down and that's a milestone.

Brunching Out

I love rainy days like these. It's an absolute mood setter for me to dress up and go out even for just a cup of coffee.

So this printed dress and the coat is of course a thrift find more than a year ago. Am really excited to whip out my coats and jackets and take this opportunity to wear them all. Am afraid some good things never last... Oh I don't know. And this heels is just lovely, it's so glittery it's not even me. But it's really just a pretentious shoes. My Mother got it for me for 5$. I love my Mom. She has the knack for all things bargain and coupons and sale and make up. This morning she showed me the scarves and bags she bought for me. She is really that awesome. She's still playing mommy to me - She's still dressing me up. And I just don't have any idea how am I gonna wear the knee high boots she bought for me. Yeah! Mothers these days huh... Ohhh I remember when I told her I am cutting my hair, she specifically asked me to get a Victoria Bekham hair. c",)

Forgotten Outfit

I honestly don't know how in the world I forgot about this outfit. The leather jacket was a thrift find and I happen to still have it growing molds in my closet. I really find it odd that I didn't fire up this look on this blog. But I guess the leather jacket is quite timely now don't you think? And yeah, the hair. Again, I have no idea why I do such things to myself. I got it permed but tied it in a bun for a year. I just simply don't have any explanation but say... Am sorry? I am sorry to this look for not showing it around and I am sorry for the hair.

Jesus Christ hair isn't for me.

Oh Sunlight, Where Art Thou?

Hello Sun! How are you? I know, that you know how important you are to us, you of all star is the center of the universe. Don't take this the wrong way, but I love the cool weather now. I really do, but I kinda miss you. So in search for you, I dug up some old photos of ours to keep me warm in a not-so-sweaty-way. i know you're having great time relaxing now, somewhere. Take your time, but we haven't done our laundry in a week. I miss you, we need you. So when you finally decide to show yourself up once again, do not over react. Just take it easy. Warm up slowly. Don't stress yourself to much. But come back soon.

As we all know, we can't wear much clothes here in summer. No can't do Amiga. So this jacket is just perfect for our rainy weather right now. It looks happy, enough to cheer up the gloomy mood that comes with cold season. And what else... of course I was smitten by the collar. The catch? It's 31$ plus international shipping cost. A bit expensive for my mommy-budget. So am a go out a little later, visit my favorite fabric shop, hope to find a fabric that will match this floral print and relax because my seamstress is that gooooood. When all else fails, she won't.

By the way, hello friends. How's the celebration of Father's day? The babydaddy wants a low key celebration. All he ever asked for was a crispy pata. It's been a long time since we had one, so crisy pata it is. I know it's not really the healthiest food but what the heck! We're confident we're not gonna die because we prayed for it. You know, turn the fat into something healthy. Okay don't do that.
